Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Last but not least, we have the beloved
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, back for it's 86th year with new mind-blowing floats. There will be a total of 10,000 participants, 28 floats, 16 giant character balloons, 1,600 cheerleaders, dancers and performance group members, 11 marching bands, and a bunch of celebrity performers. Oh, there will also be 900 clowns at the parade?
Anyways, there's no better way to get out of the house than to witness your favorite, giant TV character gliding over the Big Apple while you listen to the top artists on the charts.
Carly Rae Jepson,
Flo Rida, The Wanted,
Neon Trees,
Jimmy Fallon &
The Roots, the U.S. Olympic gold medalist gymnastics team, and
The Rockettes are among the performers making an appearance.
The parade will be traveling down Central Park West from 77th Street to Columbus Circle, making its way along Central Park South to 6th Ave then straight to Macy's Herald Square. Check it out tomorrow from 9am-noon.
