True Sex and the City fans know that as suave, inconsistent, and infuriating as Mr. Big was, he did have sense of humor enough to keep up with Carrie's antics and foibles. Even when viewers winced from secondhand embarrassment, Big could usually be counted on to laugh it off and lighten the mood.
As it turns out, Carrie's mishaps happen to be some of actor Chris Noth's favorite moments in the show.
During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the star revealed his favorite episode of the series and, well, it's official: men literally never grow up.
"My favorite was when she farted in bed," Noth told Clarkson, referring, of course, to Season 1's "The Drought," in which Carrie experienced every woman's worst nightmare.
"I insisted on doing the sound to get it right because I’m an expert in farts," he continued. "That was a good one because then she tried to put her head under the covers, and it was like, ‘No, don’t go there, that’s where the trouble is!’"
Another one of his top picks?
The equally-as-mortifying Season 3 finale, when he and Carrie trip into the lake outside Central Park's Loeb Boathouse.
Unfortunately for those of us who are Team Big, rumor has it that he will not be a part of the upcoming SATC revival, And Just Like That..., on HBO Max. Aidan (a.k.a. John Corbett), however, will be making a comeback. In my opinion, though, he's not nearly as fun as Big.
