After all of the aforementioned Britishness, I was driven to indulge in my favorite of the Masterpiece Classic genre (and trust, I love Masterpiece Classics).
Gemma Arterton is the most absolute perfect Tess. As is Eddie Redmayne the most perfect Angel. A wicked story whose soundtrack alone is enough to get me sobbing.
