Anna Karenina (2012)
Oh, you thought Keira Knightley would only appear once on this list? First of all, that's not even statistically possible, and second of all, she's earned it thanks to her turn as Leo Tolstoy's tragic heroine, Anna Karenina. The lavish, wintry affair that takes place in 19th century Russia feels very fitting for the season. There's also something to be said of the unique, stage play-like elements director Joe Wright experiments with throughout the film.
