For many chic New Yorkers, this past weekend was all about champagne wishes and caviar dreams, as 7,000 well-dressed men and women escaped the city for the Sixth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park on Saturday afternoon. As expected, our favorite faces showed up to the equestrian event ready to impress. Some, like Alek Wek and Julia Restoin Roitfeld, opted to keep things traditional in a floral dress and a wide-brim hat, respectively. Meanwhile, Dree Hemingway took a risk that paid off, choosing a bold jumpsuit for the occasion. In order to prepare for the Belmont Stakes coming up on Saturday (June 8th), we decided to use our favorite Polo Classic looks as inspiration.
