The Odeon

Ever since its opening back in 1980, The Odeon has proven itself a timeless watering hole for the elite - uptown and downtown alike. But with the recent Conde Nast takeover of FiDi, and requisite barrage of stylishness, God knew the ever chic "Triangle Below Canal" was in no way safe. And just like that, this always a favorite, now a must, is more relevant and happening than ever. Fashion editors and creative heads pick apart layouts, chat about colleagues, and get a respectable buzz on. A pre, pendant, or post work buzz, as only magazine people can.

Don't let the white tablecloths intimidate you. Keeping it casual in a place like this is actually far more noteworthy. Normally, this "too cool to adjust to a dress code" kind of shit is historically reserved for Olsens, but, when done correctly, even plebeian you can inspire dining room whispers - the picture of intrigue and mystery, cotton tee, light wash denim, fun shades and all! Order the omelette, a bizarrely smart dish when eaten for lunch or dinner, and you'll most definitely induce celebrity rumors.
