The Red Cat's cozy, white and red dining room offers a romantic atmosphere for this Valentine's Day. This legendary Chelsea restaurant celebrates this year's Valentine's Day with a Prix Fixe menu for $70 per person with dishes such as its beloved Quick Sauté of Zucchini with toasted almonds and pecorino; Crispy Oysters with smoked chilies, kohlrabi salad and toasted hazelnuts; Whole Roasted Branzino For Two atop cannelloni puree, citrus fennel salad and persillade; Creamy Risotto studded with winter vegetables; and Pan Crisped Salmon with tokyo turnips, hen of the wood and butternut squash puree. Pastry chef Colleen Grapes seduces patrons with her desserts like Lemon Pudding Cake and Chocolate Fondue For Two served with caramel marshmallows, coconut passion fruit macaroons and cherry almond biscotti.
