Le Figaro Café, the landmark Greenwich Village locale which once played host to the neighborhood's bustling beatnik scene, is getting a fresh start over a decade after shuttering. Mario Skaric is bringing it back, albeit without the "Le" or the original interiors, this spring. Even with the more upscale vibe Skaric is aiming for, the spot is surely going to be a nouveau bohemian favorite.
