If there's one thing Soho could use, it's a really solid breakfast spot. Oh, and lunch too...
And I mean, while we're at it, if we're really reaching for the moon, a Butterfield Market. But I digress.
New scene staple Sartiano's is officially open for cool downtown morning people and suit-clad businessmen who've been up all night thinking about money, now serving up a delightful menu of breakfast classics starting at 8AM.
The poached egg topped Polenta, Smoked Salmon draped over marscapone, red onion and English muffin, Avocado Toast with whipped ricotta on seeded sourdough, and Duck Fat Hash Browns are certainly standout dishes.
They've also got a nice little laundry list of juices going, including the ever elusive pineapple juice. So yeah, we're going to consider that noteworthy.
Also noteworthy (and new) is the restaurant's lunch menu.
The pizza situation is a whole thing, with the roasted wild mushroom, ricotta and black truffle Bianco the obvious winner of the three.
For the more sophisticated lady or lad who lunches, the Grilled Bronzino, Wagyu Flank Steak and Chicory Salad. Fries, of course, are non-negotiable.
And just so you know, this is totally a two drinks at lunch kind of place. Anything less would be rude and missing the mark.
I mean, what are you, a farmer?
