The Kubbeh Project

The Kubbeh Project
Only open from March 1st to 21st, the famous Zucker Bakery will be hosting The Kubbeh Project, a Jewish-Iraqi dining experience. The pop-up restaurant will be open from 6pm until they run out of food every night of its short life. If you thought you liked Matzoh Balls, Kubbeh, the project's namesake, is semolina dumplings stuffed with seasoned meat or vegetables and served in a variety of flavorful broth including an aromatic pumpkin. Naama Shefi, the event curator, is trying to save the dying art of Kubbeh cooking. Come for the Kubbeh and stay for the challah, tahini, and rugelach on this out-of-the-box and delicious date night.
