Lafayette Restaurant
Lafayette is a French Bistro located on the Lower East Side serving up a wide array of French favorites. The menu explores specialties from different regions of France including Normandy and Provence. Chef Andre Carmellini was inspired by his past experience as the Chef De Cuisine at Café Bouloud and envisions Lafayette as an everyday French restaurant emphasizing country cooking.
The dinner menu offers French market specials such as the Egg Lafayette with smoked sablefish and trout caviar, a variety of pates, and entrees such as the Duck au Poivre served with grains, radish and smoked bacon.
