In the market for a truly unique, only-in-New-York dining experience?
Enter 177 Prince Street, take a key-locked elevator up to the fifth floor and inside you'll find a full-floor loft bustling with foodie fanatics and scene staples.
Maison Sun, once a roaming restaurant concept that would pop up in special venues with a roster of changing chefs to create one-night-only culinary affairs, has found itself the perfect home in this SoHo speakeasy-ish spot. A spot not happened upon by chance, but awaiting those in-the-know and excited-to-eat.
The intimate space seats just twenty guests each night, all along for the same elevated dining ride.
Chef Brenden Skibar (of The Modern and Masa) walks the room through each of the meal's eight courses, while Maison Sun owner and wine connoisseur Dr. Gasperi shares the method behind each of his wine pairings. Ever changing and evolving, the menu has included delectable dishes such as a Caviar Porcini Tart and Egg Sauce, Sea Bass with Beurre Blanc and Radishes, Tamago and Crème Chantilly and more.
Open Thursday through Saturday, Maison Sun's dinner experience costs $365 per person (inclusive of beverages, gratuity and tax). Reserve your seat today - or hell, just reserve the whole restaurant and invite 19 friends for a feast fête!
