The burl wood and mirror-covered restaurant over on Macdougal Street has just announced that its doors will be shutting up shop for good come March 2nd. In its five years, the European Bistro has established itself as a watering hole for the discerningly cool downtown set - the kind who still pop out for an after-dinner cigarette no matter how cold it may be.
The restaurant's good vibes will live on just a block away on Sullivan Street with sister spot Mimi, and out East with the casual Doubles in Amagansett.
