Lafayette reminds us of all those great bistros we ate at in Paris, only this one is in Noho. The gigantic space is always lively with chattering groups of A-listers discussing new projects with artists and innovators. The food is quintessential French with some modern twists; it's simple, straightforward and delicious. Lafayette's Restaurant Week deals are a $29 Prix Fixe lunch and a $42 Prix Fixe dinner consisting of three courses including a duck confit salad, a rotisserie chicken, mimolette and a Gianduja Profiterole.
