Nick Stefanov, Kelly Bensimon's fiance said this in response to allegations that the latest addition to the Real Housewives of New York City punched him in the face last Tuesday morning during a fight in her lower Manhattan digs. The 40-year old former model and New York socialista apparently left her 30-year old boyfriend with a black eye and bloody left cheek. Stefanov immediately reported Bensimon to the police and she is due in court March 31st even though she denies that it happened. According to the NYPost:

"We got engaged a couple weeks ago," Stefanov told one friend. "We got into an argument that escalated and escalated. She hauled off and started swinging. She got a lucky punch on my cheekbone and just split it right open. I went down to the police station covered in blood...If I had done it to her, I would have been put in jail immediately," Stefanov told his friend. My injuries are worse than Rihanna's - and Chris Brown was charged with two felonies." [NY Post]

We don't know what the fight could have possibly been about to prompt Bensimon to start throwing swings but we DO know that she just made herself Bravos' most popular New York City Housewife.
