I was lucky enough to be raised in a family where women dominated the dinner table but they were far from dominating the work force. So, I decided to create a company called PussyWeed™ that aims to build a community of empowerment revolving around female entrepreneurship. There isn’t enough risk taking happening in our fight for gender equality. This strike, for those who have the privilege to partake, will show that we may have been complacent but it’s time for the world to realize that women are low key running the world. If he [who shall not be named] says "let’s make America great again," it’s not him or any other white man who is going to do it, but the women and all our allies who will achieve this “greatness.” It’s time for women to stop thinking that it’s not a big deal when they get groped at the office or when their new idea is laughed at by their boss. I don’t think this strike is an end-all solution to gender equality but at this point anything seems better than nothing.
