[Photo: Leandra Medine, Rebecca Minkoff] Other details: Designer Rebecca Minkoff celebrated the launch of her new denim collection and SoHo denim pop up shop with a “demolition party” at her soon to be NYC Flagship retail space at 96 Greene Street. Guests were treated to cocktails by Svedka and the Bronx Brewery and music by DJ Kiss and were encouraged to graffiti the stores pristine white walls with markers and paint. The collection, which marks an exciting and charitable new venture for Minkoff, is partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. With each purchase from the collection, a donation will be triggered to No Kid Hungry, which can connect a child in need with up to 20 meals, such as school breakfasts and summer meals.
