Other details: Last night, Giorgio Armani held a very glamorous 'One Night Only' event at the Superpier studio. The event featured a runway show of his Armani Prive collection, followed by an after-party DJ'd by the one-and-only Mark Ronson. As expected, fashion's biggest names arrived including Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld, Coco Rocha, and Lindsey Wixson - however, the event also brought out a significant amount of A-list film stars. Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Naomi Watts, and Renee Zellweger were just a handful of the celebrities to make rare appearances at the party. Giorgio Armani was in great spirits at the party, not in the least because Mayor Bloomberg announced that October 24th is now Giorgio Armani Day. The honor was given due to Giorgio's relentless support of New York's education and economy, and his influence on fashion here. Giorgio Armani stated:
"In such a special day for me, it is a great honor to receive this recognition, which reaffirms a strong personal and professional bond with New York, a city that has given me and continues giving me so much."
