Other details: Last night James Franco screened his new film "Child of God" at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. Directed and written by Franco, the film depicts the painful descent of Scott Haze's character Lester Ballad as he drifts away from social order. Prior to the screening, Franco, Haze, and friends including MoMA's Klaus Biesenbach and singer Lana Del Rey mingled over Black Velvet cocktails at the hotel. The film hits theaters this Friday, August 1st.
