Winkel & Balktick "Momento Mori" Performance commissioned by Espolón

Where: Green-Wood Cemetary Other details: On Friday Winkel & Balktick and Espolon tequila presented the finale of their week-long "Memento Mori" show, which took place throughout the country. The show featured the Third Rail Project theater troupe performing in a participatory-theater event, but the finale also featured a special feast and Day of the Dead dance party. The party took place at the Green-Wood Cemetary in Park Slope, but to ensure the event was a surprise, invitees were only directed to a dive bar before the true location was revealed. Once they arrived at the cemetary the event turned into a raucous party fueled by Espolon cocktails, surely to be remembered as a highlight of Halloween weekend. Though it marked the end of the "Memento Mori" performance, Third Rail Project has a new performance scheduled titled "Then She Fell." Go HERE for more photos by Stephen Smith!
