Catherine Malandrino was the guest of honor at the 2010 Pratt Fashion Show After Party, held last Thursday evening in the High Line Room at the Standard Hotel. Guests at the event toasted Malandrino and the relieved seniors, whose four years of study had come to an end that very afternoon at the Pratt Institute Fashion Show.-
Graduating design students presented their collections in women's ready-to-wear, men's ready-to-wear, bridal and evening wear, and costumes. Malandrino was then presented with the Fashion Design Icon Award. Previous winners include Ralph Rucci, Narciso Rodriguez, and Diane von Furstenberg.
Perhaps, if the students are lucky, they'll return to The Standard soon, for the afterparty of their innaugural NY Fashion Week Shows?
