It seems as though it's been a while since we've checked in with Don Hill's. After the Fashion Week frenzy in early September, the venue has been pretty relaxed, catering to a low-key crowd of regulars and music afficionados. Last night, it was the setting for the Creem Magazine Issue 02 launch party.-
The West Village bar was packed to the brim with artsy types there to celebrate the latest issue of the Fashion Magazine, listen to a performance by The Dirty Pearls and Bowery Riots, and maybe even try to decipher some of the grafiti on the wall. If we insinuated that the Fashion Week crowds were faux-bohemian, last night's clientele was certainly the real thing.
Still a relatively low-key event, compared to the scene during Fashion Week, but one thing's for sure: Don Hill's has still got it.
