[All photos by JP Pullos for PMc] Last night, the Edison Ballroom was filled with glitz and glamor as Arts Horizons presented the Paul Newman Award for services to the Arts and Children.-
This years award went to Tony award winning theater producer Bonnie Conley and her husband Tony award winning theater producer Stewart F. Lane.-
The power couple currently have two shows running on Broadway, "August Osage County" scribe Tracy Lett's latest, "Superior Donuts," as well as the Hitchcock comedy, "39 Steps". Both Comley and Lane have been active in giving back to their communities, with Comley paying special attention to her alma maters, Columbia and Boston College, providing several scholarships to both universities.
The Paul Newman Award is given by Arts Horizon, a not-for-profit arts-in-education organization devoted to make music, art, dance, theatre, new media and creative writing an integral part not only of learning, but of life.
