Saturday: The Girlfriends Guide
Your girls are coming in for a much-needed catch up/play session in the city, and you couldn't be happier! You won't waste a single moment with what we have planned.
What to bring: Phone charger (someone's will surely die at some point,) blanket, picnic basket, swimsuit, sandals, Metrocard
Brunch: Have them meet you at trendy brunch spot Agave. Get the day started right with their brunch special, in which you pay $27.95 for any entree and a two hour bottomless choice of mimosa, wine, or Agave's Traditional margaritas!
Afternoon: Do some serious drooling (and possibly splurging) at the boho chic Calypso St. Barth Sample Sale in trendy Soho. This line is perfect if any of you have a tropical vacation coming up! Plus, it's in the perfect location to roam around if you want some more window shopping options!
Evening: Pack some wine and cheese and head to Central park to hear cool, Brooklynite singer Karen Bernod do her thing on the Summer Stage! Rest your feet, share some laughs, and chill out to the soothing sounds while stocking up on energy for the night ahead.
Dinner: Nothing is better than sushi on girls' night, and Blue Ribbon Sushi is one of the best options out there. This trendy spot has won dozens of awards, so rest assured your girls will love it! Try the old cell phone trick: everyone leaves their phones in the middle of the table, and the first one to check it has to pay for dinner. You'll want to order everything on the menu, so we suggest ordering a bunch of rolls and sharing! And don't forget to take advantage of the bar there as well (although we doubt you will).
Night: Change into your swimsuits (and your new cover-ups from Calypso St. Barth) and head to the Grace Hotel Indoor Pool Party! This is probably the only indoor pool event in the city, so take advantage of the beautiful location, the best people-watching, and the opportunity to splash your friends (it's funny no matter how old you are).
