Row, row, row your boat gently down the ... Hudson?! This Greenwich Village boathouse on Pier 40 offers rowing programs for all skills and ages. Village Community Boathouse aims to promote awareness of the public ownership of NYC waterways through their ~free~ rowing opportunities and boatbuilding sessions. I should probably quote a proverb here about teaching a man to fish, but instead I'll just recommend that you bring along a bottle of wine.
