Day in the Meatpacking/Chelsea

The Meatpacking District has become one of the most popular neighborhoods in New York, with a range of activities for you and your date to enjoy. Begin your adventure with lunch at one of the many great restaurants with outdoor seating. Some of our favorites include The Standard Grill, La Bottega, and Serafina.

After enjoying each other's company through good conversation, grab a coffee to go and head over to the High Line for a stroll. The park's diverse landscape keeps it interesting, as you and your date can marvel at the views, architecture and other scenery the park has to offer. Exit around 20th street and enjoy some of Chelsea's art galleries which always have something captivating on display. Currently there is a Julian Schnabel exhibit at Gagosian Gallery and a great group show of various artists at David Zwirner Gallery. Don't want the adventure to end? Take the High Line back over to 14th Street and enjoy drinks at Le Bain on the rooftop of the Standard. The view is spectacular and there's even a delicious crêperie to satisfy your afternoon cravings!
