River to River Festival
This arts and culture festival promises an impressive 150 events throughout its 30 day run time, which kicks off on June 15th. With 28 art sites, the Festival fills Lower Manhattan with arts exhibits and performances in an effort to showcase new names and works in one of the world's most cultured neighborhoods. There is something here for everyone including performances by Lar Lubovitch Dance Company on Spruce Street, a Poet's House Showcase on River Terrace, and Open Studios, which offers viewers a look into artist's studios around the city.
