How did the idea of "Just A Brunch" come about?
Well, first and foremost I have to say that I’m not doing this alone. Jesse Baer, a great friend of mine who is a partner at Common Ground Bar along with various other nightlife ventures, has been with me in this process every step of the way. Jesse recently had Sunday parties this past football season at PS 450, a bar he’s involved in, and the turn out and vibe was dope. I helped him get things started there a bit, and I think we came to the realization that we make one hell of a team. Since the season has ended though, I’ll be completely honest with you… I think we both got a little bored. So we figured, let’s put together something new and different and see if we can attract the same kind of atmosphere we previously had going at PS.
