Stay out all night partying and then go for an early morning drink somewhere off of Washington Square Park. Didion's favorite, the White Rose Bar, is long gone, but that doesn't mean the tradition should be. Wander out of the bar tipsy in the am and marvel at the great imperial flatness of second avenue.
