The ONE thing I missed was our annual visit to Provence to see my friend and client Sacha Lichine of Whispering Angel. Their chateau - Chateau d’Esclans - is charming and a very special place where the legend of Whispering Angel all began! I also missed St Tropez - the shopping, the people watching, the days at the beach clubs, the nights out at dinner, and of course, the Tuesday / Saturday market at Place des Lices. There is NO PLACE in the world like St Tropez - the heart of the French Riviera, gilded by the jet-set and Brigitte Bardot and where Mick and Bianca married!
