Turns out you don't have to travel all the way to Hogsmeade (or Universal Studios) to throw back butterbeer alongside your fellow witches and wizards. An adults-only Harry Potter-themed fest is hitting NYC and it's calling for a day of magic and mischief.
Wizard U., a traveling show and experience, is taking over Irving Plaza on Saturday, February 3rd. The self-proclaimed "premier school of wizardry for late-blooming adult students of magic," teaches well-cloaked wand-wavers everything from dueling and potion-making to divination and wizard pong (no levitation spells permitted for that one).
Complete with live music and bewitching booze, it's no wonder tickets have been selling out fast. Grab your broomsticks people!
