Paris Hilton

Paris, the eldest member of the next-generation brood, obviously needs no introduction. Born in New York, and raised between the city and Beverly Hills, the party girl icon turned businesswoman powerhouse got her start in modeling (she signed with Trump Model Management when she was just 19). Cue her much, much, much (x 100) publicized ups and downs, roster of celebrity friends and frenemies (ahem, Kim K.), after-hours antics, and forever-in-our-hearts television phenomenon that was The Simple Life.

In recent years, however, our girl has taken a slightly more respectable approach to marketing her name, although she certainly still has fun. In addition to DJing, Paris has parlayed her "celebutante" fame into a multibillion-dollar brand, which includes dozens of product lines, a perfume empire, and even a club resort in the Philippines. On a more serious note, she's become an outspoken critic of traumatizing "troubled teen" treatment centers and recently testified about the abuse she suffered at the Provo Canyon School in Utah during her time there as a youth. She's also been opening up a lot on her new podcast, This is Paris.

As for her formerly tumultuous love life? It seems she has finally found lasting happiness with her new fiancé, Cater Reum, who popped the question this past February while they were vacationing on a private island for Paris's big 4-0. Reum, an investor and entrepreneur, tapped famed jeweler Jean Dousset, the great-great-grandson of Cartier himself, to customize the rock, which is reportedly worth well over a million bucks.

As Paris would say, That’s hot!
