She's Always Been Passionate About Social Issues

Back when we first interviewed Kit, the then 16-year-old was working on a film about intersectional feminism and said of Gen Z, "We've definitely begun to understand social issues and become really active socially, especially with social justice. But it's actually acting on those things and trying to make a difference that's important. You can't just recognize those things and not somehow try to change them."

Since then, Kit has interned with Everytown for Gun Safety, has gotten involved with eating disorder awareness and peer support group, The Chain, and has used her platform to mindfully address issues surrounding race and Black Lives Matter.
