Political Tensions With Dad
In her essay, Caroline claims that she had started getting into political debates with her dad around the time she was 12 (been there!), but she made major waves when, in 2007, she joined a Facebook group in support of Barack Obama (awkward because her father had entered the presidential race against him). In 2016, her Facebook again garnered attention when she changed her profile picture in support of Hillary Clinton. This election cycle, Caroline backed Kamala Harris in her bid for the democratic nomination, but has since thrown all of her support behind the Biden campaign.
