The Mugrabis
First off, who are the Mugrabis?
David and Alberto "Tico" Mugrabi are the sons of Jose Mugrabi, a Syrian-Israeli tycoon who began working in the textile business in Colombia. He launched his family's art dynasty in the '80s after moving to New York and is now known for having the largest private collection of Warhols along with coveted pieces by Renoir, Picasso, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. David and Tico have both extended their last name's art world influence as prominent dealers.
