Jon Oringer
Back in 2013, Jon Oringer, the founder and CEO of Shutterstock, became New York City's first-ever tech billionaire. Casual. After launching his stock photo subscription service with 30,000 of his own snaps, the Columbia computer science grad now runs a publicly-traded site that boasts over 160 million images and a $1.5 billion market cap. According to Forbes, he's branching out into video, AI, and machine learning. Robot photographers, anyone?
