This fashion girl got her start interning with Vogue photographer Patrick Demarchelier. An Upper East Side fixture, she soon moved into the world of fashion and was even spotted (albeit briefly) on the arm of Diane Von Furstenburg's son. With DVF as a close confidante and friend, not a lot can go wrong. Brooks' decidedly preppy vibe is still with her, but she has gone from "It Girl" to "Girl Boss." Brooks worked a high-powered gig at Barneys before leaving New York for the English countryside. Like just about every other It Girl, she's now a published author.
