Fasano Fifth Avenue
Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, luxury hotel brand Fasano has debuted its first North American outpost on the Upper East Side, but checking in involves a lot more than a reservation on Hotels.com.
The suites, residences, and luxurious on-site haunts are for members only, meaning that the 14-story former townhome has been transformed into one big clubhouse for the international elite. Long-term stays are available in chic duplex apartments, while amenities include 24-hour concierge, a gym, sauna, and VIP access to shopping experiences and art auctions. Designed by Thierry Despont, the destination also houses the NYC sister property of Brazil's Baretto, a plush bar and lounge offering exclusive in-house dining.
