With a lavish baby shower at one of New York's hottest haunts, of course!

Jennifer Gates, the Microsoft heiress, professional equestrian, medical student, and yes, eldest daughter of Bill and Melinda, is expecting her first child (a daughter) with her husband, fellow esquestrian Nayel Nassar, whom she wed last year.

Hosted by her mother Melinda, Jennifer's celebratory shower was a dreamy holiday-themed soiree at none other than Verōnika, the opulent eatery tucked into Fotografiska.

Candlelight, festive garlands, and a show-stopping Christmas tree set the scene for the new mom-to-be, along with plenty of all-pink-everything gifts for the new arrival.

Jennifer shared some snaps of the party on Instagram this week, writing "Still on cloud 9 after this baby shower. Thank you to all the people who have given me and baby girl so much love from near and far and @melindafrenchgates for hosting this incredible evening. Our hearts are all so full."
