When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Or, said another way, when global warming threatens the future of the planet, and sea levels are rising and glaciers are melting, sell "Arctic Ice."
The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Greenland, where the new startup Arctic Ice is harvesting ice naturally made by the Greenlandic fjords...
"Sourced directly from the natural glaciers in the Arctic which have been in frozen state for more than 100,000 Years. These parts of the ice sheets have not been in contact with any soils or contaminated by pollutants produced by human activities. This makes Arctic Ice the Cleanest H20 on Earth."
Still fairly fresh into business, getting its startup sea legs if you will, the company has managed to land at least one distribution partner, Natural Ice, in the most non-natural, man-made of places, Dubai. No doubt the country's uber wealthy are the perfect customers for an expensive decadence such as this chilly collateral damage of climate change.
Certainly it doesn't help that the UAE has one of the highest per capita energy and water consumptions in the world, you know, while also being one of the most water-scarce nations.
But hey - this stuff has no taste, melts super slowly, and can come in custom shapes!
