All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go: Alexander Hankin

by Christie Grimm · May 22, 2020

Who isn't absolutely, completely, hopelessly desperate for an excuse to get dressed up these days?

Next up in our All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go series is Alexander Hankin

In non-zombie apocalypse times he's as much a staple on the New York social scene as he is on the Philly circuit. Currently, he's traded his bi-city life for more of a town and country situation. No matter the backdrop, Alexander's always staying stylish. His Instagrams don't lie!

    What are you wearing?
Shirt and Shoes Versace SS20 Jeans Ksubi.

Where are you riding out the storm?
I am between my apartment in Philadelphia and my farm in Bucks County.

    How are you keeping busy?
So our family real estate company, Hankin Management Company, has never really slowed down with work, but doing Torch'd with Isaac Calpito every day at 11 and working with Artists for Luminaries Live with MAD on Thursdays keeps me busy as well.

Thing you love most about Philadelphia?
Well when they were open, the museums, but right now, Philadelphia has some of the best restaurants and all of them are open for take out.

    What's your quarantine guilty pleasure?
Honestly Torch'd with Isaac Calpito - it's kinda a cult but I'm here for it, never miss a day.

What's one little luxury of normal life you miss the most?
I miss dinners and dancing with my friends. I cant wait till I can have a night out at Tokyo Record Bar and dance the night away Joyface.

What's the most fabulous thing you've done in quarantine so far?
My sister, Danielle, her boyfriend, and my friend Blake had a rosé and caviar dinner on our terrace. She made this bread for it, which was unreal.

    Plans for the summer?
I think a lot of weekends at the farm, maybe get back into horseback riding. Maybe take a road trip for my birthday in July.
