If Soho House just isn't exclusive enough for you these days, you'd better start working on your faux British accent (à la Samantha Jones in that one episode of Sex and the City).
According to Avenue, Robin Birley, the nightlife scion and proprietor of legendary haunts like Loulou's and 5 Hertford Street in London, is developing an outpost right here in New York City. His hood of choice? Union Square. Perhaps he could restore the bustling area full of NYU students to its former glory (#tbt to the time Zelda Fitzgerald took a drunken dip in the fountain!).
While the club aims to cater to a distinctly New York crowd, one has to wonder how well the party vibes will meld - Brits are notoriously buttoned-up while Manhattenites certainly like to let loose. Then again, we've seen Lords and Ladies get bombed at Loulou's. Perhaps we'll all get along just fine. If anything, we know where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be hanging out when they come to the States.
