Young social deb Larissa Whitney (known to her friends as Lali or simply La) celebrated her 2? birthday last night with a group of close friends and relatives. Among the guests were her charming brother Maximillian Whitney, Bar Martignetti owner Tom Martignetti, heiress Kingsley Woolworth, jewelry designer Jennifer Nunez de Villavicencio, Fern Senior, and Fay McGettigan and Morgan Roberts, both of San Francisco.
The party, located on the terrace of their penthouse in the Lower East Side, had an Anglo-theme complete with tea sandwiches, Pimm's cup, deviled eggs and more (I took responsibility for the eggs, quite a hit! I used this recipe). The champagne punch was also a hit made with 2 bottles of champagne, a bottle of cranberry-raspberry juice, about 2 cups of orange juice and fresh raspberries (thank you Rachel!) Of course I enjoyed a nibble off of "Mrs. Field's" famous Page 6 "brownies" (really macaroons). And as always, the Whitney residence was dog friendly with puppy socialites Moby Whitney, Oliver Whitney and Giselle Spear-Traitel.
