Film buffs, fashionistas, and movie geeks gathered at the 7 for All Mankind Soho store last night to celebrate the 14th Annual Gen Art Film Festival Launch Party. The party kicked off Gen Art’s 7 premieres/7 parties event, stretching from April 1st – 7th. Read more below.... The festival itself is comprised of seven short films from emerging filmmakers while simultaneously allowing the media and audience to take part in the fun. There’s even a premiere for New Yorker Austin Stark’s new film, Peter and Vandy. Featured actor’s in this year’s film line up include Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon, Zooey Deschanel, Paul Dano, Jamie Kennedy, Denise Richards, and many more. Guests were treated to cocktails courtesy of Three Olives Vodka (complete with a Root Beer flavored liquor) and POP chips (if you haven’t had them, definitely try them!)
The very talented (and very cool) DJ Reach spun for the evening’s guests, including Rory Culkin, All My Children’s Chrishell Srause, Jess Wexler, Misou Peck, Miss Teen USA Stevi Perry, The Bachelorette’s Graham Bunn. Also on hand were Chyna Lane, Laura Breckenridge, Jasika Nicole, Jay Dipietro, Sara Ziff, Jules Kirby, Martin Dawson, David Chines, Lance Reddick, and Peter Sterling.
The store was packed, and everywhere you turned there was a video camera. It was definitely a great turn out, and I’m quite excited for the upcoming premieres (not to mention the after parties at Hudson Terrace, 1Oak, and Greenhouse!)
