Too Far Too Close by Os Gemeos, twin brothers from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is the current exhibition at the Deitch Projects space on 18 Wooster Street. The exhibit completely transforms the space into Gustavo and Otavio Pandolfo’s dream like world; it’s hard not to be overwhelmed with the amount of detail put into the paintings, sculptures, and installations.

A favorite aspect seems to be the keyboard they have hooked up to different amplifiers just one of the ways to discourage just simply observing their pieces. All in all, it’s rewarding afternoon, and the twins summed it up the best, “we only report scenes from a magic, love, hate, and real place that live inside us, a real dream, the scene of our own universe.
