You don't need to be a chic wine snob to step into Parcelle's new bar, but you'll certainly consider yourself one by the time you walk out.

The "It" online wine retailer, which sells and ships a curated selection of vino via its sleek digital platform, has expanded to the physical realm with its first brick-and-mortar outpost on NYC's Lower East Side.

Led by co-founders Grant Reynolds (pro-sommelier formerly of Charlie Bird) and entrepreneur Josh Abramson, Parcelle aims to promote education and discovery among wine-lovers old and new. At the brand's eponymous watering hole, its mission is brought to interactive - and luxurious - new heights.

During the day, guests can come in, try a glass, and consult with seasoned wine experts from celebrated local spots like King, Pasquale Jones and Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare to find their new favorite bottle (and order a few for delivery). In the evenings, the spot goes full wine bar mode, offering a 500-bottle wine list and rotating selection of by-the-glass pours. In addition to nightly bar bites and prix fixe dinner service, the venue will play host to private tastings and guest chef events its posh patrons are sure to raise a glass to.

And while the wine is, obviously, the star of the show, the ambiance certainly adds to the appeal. Outfitted with plush vintage furnishings, rich emerald greens, and Mid-Century accents, the Paul Renwick-designed space sets a stylish scene fitting for its "Dimes Square" downtown clientele. After all, a rare blend just tastes better when you're sipping it somewhere beautiful - and Instagram brag-worthy.
