Pulqueria
1. Christopher and Heather Tierney (remember this duo from Apothoke?) opened up Pulqueria not long ago - and it's a hit so far, but maybe not the hit that they wanted to be. The hot spot opened up Spetember 12th, just in time to sync up wit the Fashion Week hulabaloo (and parties). And while AnOther Magazine threw their bash there, with an all-star nightlife crowd of Daphne Guinness, Derek Blasberg, Jenne Lombardo, Waris Ahluwalia, Rose McGowan, Helena Christensen, Scott Campbell, Dustin Yellin, Leigh Lezark, Nate Lowman, Arden Wohl, Lissy Trullie,Kate Lanphear, Gigi Burris, Byrdie Bell, Rebecca Guiness, Piper Marshall and Johan Lindeberg, just to name a few, it was really the only party held there. Maybe they are shooting for quality, not quantity, but they did boast to the New York Times that they wanted to be the "Fashion Week headquarters" - not sure if one party counts, but it's definitely a good start.
The power bro/sis team is attempting to take over Doyers... and are making it happen.
