Making its debut in a historic 19th century building which was once the studio of its namesake, French-American sculptor Philip Martiny, Martiny's is the latest venture from Takuma Watanabe, the former head bartender at the celebrated but now sadly shuttered Angel's Share. Marrying the history of the space with distinctly Japanese sensibilities, the cozy cocktail den stands as a welcoming yet refined watering hole for stylish imbibers, complete with brick walls, cushy sofas, and intimate seating areas that channel the comfort of a living room.
