1. Paradiso, Barcelona

Coming in at No. 1 is the cocktail paradise fittingly named Paradiso. The Spanish oasis is tucked behind an assuming pastrami shop, opening up into a fantastical cavern of curved wood. Thanks to its tropical leaf accents, the space feels like a treehouse hideaway somewhere in the rainforest, though its never-ending procession of modern and experimental drink creations dreamed up by co-owner Giacomo Giannotti will place you firmly in the urban future.
