Cloud City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Cloud City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Although we love lunching on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's steps, enjoying light snacks and cocktails from atop the museum itself is hard to beat.  The Met's Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden is currently featuring Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno's "Cloud City" installation - an whimsical interactive work that pairs quite well with a summer cocktail.  After exploring Saraceno's modular structures, enjoy views of Central Park and Manhattan. Open: Tues.-Thurs., Sun., Holiday Mon., 10 AM - 4:00 PM; Fri.-Sat., 10 AM-6 PM Cloud City, 1000 Fifth Ave. [Photos via]
